The 4th WHU Contemporary Issues in Political Philosophy Summer School (2020)


The School of Philosophy at Wuhan University is going to host the 2020 Summer School about the Contemporary Issues in Political Philosophy. Organized by the School of Philosophy, the Summer School will explore the issues, such as public justification in Rawls-type political liberalism, justice, the sovereignty of people, the challenge of inclusion in comparative political theory, African consensual democracy, Michel Foucault’s genealogy of liberal governmentality, constituent power, etc..


Time: August 1 – August 7

The scholarship will be awarded according to the English paper the Summer School Participants submit after the summer school.

The 1st Prize: 15000 RMB

The 2nd Prize: 8000 RMB

The 3rd Prize: 5000 RMB
