The book ‘Daizhen, Qianjia Academic Tradition and Chinese culture’, which takes Professor Wu Genyou and his team 10 years of determined work, has recently been published by Fujian Education Press.

This book first explores the tradition of philosophy during Qian and Jia period of Qing Dynasty. Then, it studies Qianjia scholarship from the special perspective of linguistic philosophy and empirical study, and further presents two new important concepts, which are humanistic positivism and the increase of classical humanistic knowledge. In this academic work, the drive of modern Chinese learning, thoughts and culture is investigated from the point of view of history of philosophy.
